Lion Den (K)

Lions are in Kindergarten or age 5-6 years old.

While the lion den has a designated point person to help organize the group, the Lion work relies on an adult partner (usually a parent or other caring adult) for each Lion. Lion activities are play-centered, and still allow Lions to participate in the “big kid” pack activities.

Lion Badge Requirements

  1. Complete each of the five required Adventures with your den or family:
    • Lion’s Honor
    • Animal Kingdom
    • Fun on the Run
    • King of the Jungle
    • Mountain Lion
  2. With your adult partner, complete the exercises in the pamphlet How to Protect Your Children From Child Abuse: A Parent’s Guide, and earn the Cyber Chip award for your age.*

*If your family does not have Internet access at home AND you do not have ready Internet access at school or another public place or via a mobile device, the Cyber Chip portion of this requirement may be waived by your parent or adult partner.
